FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q.     Do you allow pets?

We have a dog of our own and we are happy for you to bring a well behaved dog with you, however any damage caused would need to be paid for. Unfortunatly we can not accept cats as our dog is a hunter and I'm afraid they wouldn't get along. There is a fee of €15 per dog per stay.

Q.     How far is it to local amenities?

There is a small grocery shop, pizzaria and pharmacy 10 minutes walk away in Santa Maria.

Fabro Scalo is a 5 minute drive and has some larger shops and a few restaurants and is next to the entrance to the A1 Autostrada.

Or Città della Pieve is only a 15 minute drive and Chiusi is 20-30 minute drive depending on the road you take. you can get everything you need from these towns.

Q.     What are the best things to see neer by?

There are so many to list but I'll give you a few of my favourites.

Orvieto, an anchent walled town, excellent restaurants, artizan shops and a beautifull walled garden with views for miles. Only 30 minutes drive.

Lake Bolsena, this lake is surrounded by beaches with clear warm water. You can take a boat trip to one of the islands, take a swim or just have lunch by the waters edge. About 1 hour drive.

Visit one of the many wineries for a delicious lunch with paired wines.

Just a few of the other sights within an easy drive are Assisi, Siena, Lake Trasimeno, Cortona or the train to Florence or Rome take about an hour and a half but are economical and so much easier than parking in these big cities.
